Deadlines for Submitting Application Materials

To submit the incorporation requirements, you must schedule an appointment at the CFIA headquarters or regional offices.

(Remember that before scheduling your enrollment appointment, you must have all the requirements).

For card payments, you will be asked to enter your PIN on the card reader in order to complete the transaction successfully. This is in accordance with the regulations established by the Central Bank of Costa Rica.

Please note that:

Appointments are available 15 days before the start of the Enrollment Period.

Eight days before the formal induction ceremony, you will be notified by email of the details according to your choice of oath.

First Incorporation

Start: enero 5 enero / End: enero 22 enero
Induction and Ethics Course: Must be completed in advance. You must have your certificate of completion by the day of your appointment.
Formal Induction Ceremony: second week of marzo

Second Incorporation

Start: marzo 9 marzo / End: marzo 26 marzo
Orientation and Ethics Course: Must be completed in advance. You must have your certificate of completion by the day of your appointment.
Formal Induction Ceremony: third week of mayo

Third Addition

Start: mayo 18 mayo / End: junio 4 junio
Induction and Ethics Course: Must be completed in advance. You must have your certificate of completion by the day of your appointment.
Formal Induction Ceremony: fourth week of julio

Fourth Addition

Start: julio 20 julio / End: agosto 6 agosto
Induction and Ethics Course: Must be completed in advance. You must have your certificate of completion by the day of your appointment.
Formal Induction Ceremony: fourth week of September

Fifth Addition

Start: September 21, 2026/ End: octubre 8 octubre
Induction and Ethics Course: Must be completed in advance. You must have your certificate of completion by the day of your appointment.
Formal Induction Ceremony: first week of diciembre
