Considerations for Submitting Requirements

All documentation must be in Spanish; otherwise, you must provide an officially certified translation.

It is important to note that incomplete applications will not be accepted.

  • De previo a la entrega de los requisitos ante la Plataforma de Servicios o Sede Regional debe remitir los requisitos firmados digitalmente al correo electrónico dep.registro@cfia.cr para la validación correspondiente de la firma y el sistema le generará un número de gestión (ticket)
  • The remaining requirements that do not contain a digital signature must be submitted in person to the Service Platform or Regional Office, indicating the reference number (ticket) of the requirements sent with a national digital signature.
  • A digital signature is not a scanned signature; it is a signature accredited by the relevant institution that allows its owner to authenticate themselves and sign electronically.

If authentication is provided abroad, the document must be duly apostilled.
