About Electrical Inspection
The inspection and verification of electrical installations to ensure they comply with the provisions set forth in the “Costa Rican Electrical Code for the Safety of Life and Property” are intended to safeguard the physical well-being of people and their property.
Inspections are required for all new electrical installations, whether for new construction or for additions or renovations to existing buildings. In addition, mandatory periodic inspections are required for all installations that include areas classified as hazardous or venues that accommodate more than 100 people.
