BIM Management Unit
Primary Objective
The objective of the BIM Management Unit is to coordinate the implementation of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology among stakeholders, promoting the integration of digital processes in all phases of design, construction, operation, and maintenance of projects nationwide. This unit seeks to standardize practices and foster innovation in the sector, facilitating effective collaboration among government agencies, private companies, universities, and other key stakeholders, based on the pillars established by the national BIM roadmap.
In addition, it focuses on promoting training for the professionals involved, ensuring the proper application of BIM standards, and encouraging the adoption of new technologies, with the aim of optimizing the use of resources, improving the quality of construction projects, and contributing to the country’s sustainable development.
