Article 112
The benefits granted by the Federated College of Engineers and Architects to public and private organizations and institutions must have as their primary purpose the promotion of the social and economic improvement of the communities and social interest groups they serve, in terms of health, living conditions, the environment, intellectual development, and the education of those individuals.
Article 114

This percentage shall be fixed and may not be changed under any circumstances through any of the procedures for amending the budget of this Federated Association.
Likewise, the General Board of Directors, at its Meeting No. 29-11/12-G.O. on Junio 5 Junio , adopted the following resolution:
The application of the concept of Social Responsibility is authorized as a CFIA policy, both at the administrative level and at the member schools.
Provides sustainable solutions within engineering and architecture services to public and private non-profit institutions and organizations with limited financial resources that request them.
The assistance provided by the Joint Liability Program involves the donation of a preliminary design and/or the design and construction plans submitted in the first phase to the CFIA and the relevant institutions. This assistance depends on the scope and complexity of the requested project; therefore, each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Every project must be community-based, and interested parties must, before filling out the form, request a meeting via email (responsabilidadsolidaria@cfia.cr) to present the project they wish to propose; the person in charge will then let them know whether it falls within the scope of the program.
The project application form must be completed at the following link:
