Primary Objective

Implement the department’s strategy and operations through programs and initiatives designed to attract, motivate, develop, and retain qualified personnel by creating a pleasant and challenging work environment that enables the organization to achieve its objectives.

Objective

Promote a culture of safety, well-being, and occupational health among CFIA employees to ensure optimal working conditions.

Specific objectives

  • Establish and comply with office work plans.
  • Continuous updating of emergency plans to ensure they are up to date in the event of any contingency
  • Train staff on occupational health and safety issues.
